That’s when you remember that that profundity is often hidden in simplicity.įrom this jumping-off point, Perry spends the five chapters looking at the holiness of God from various perspectives-as a characteristic of God, as His moral perfection, as His transcendence-what the implications of God’s holiness mean that when it comes to sinful men, and (in a great angle) what it would mean for Creation and Humanity if God were not holy.
